The design and fabrication of large unsupported barrel vaults has become one of Pivatal’s specialities. Using our modern, in-house curving facilities, we can manufacture a wide variety of shapes and sizes to meet modern design concepts.

The Pivatal system used in the design of barrel vaults is both thermally broken and drained & ventilated. The use of pressure plate and clip over capping allows for aesthetically pleasing designs, typical shapes include low rise, semi circle and elliptical. Designs may be adapted to suit glass or polycarbonate, in both single and double skin, to the relevant standards.
